Trunk or Treating Like a Halloween Expert

Don't attend that trunk or treat event and simply throw a few baskets of candy in the trunk. This is not how you trunk or treat in style. Here are a few tips for giving the kids something they will truly remember.

  • Put a dummy in the vehicle behind the wheel staring out at the kids as they come by for treats.
  • Use black lighting to give the underside of your vehicle. Have a hand reaching out as if to try and grab the kids as they make their way to your vehicle.
  • Open the hood or place a string of lights through the grill. Two red lights could represent a ghoul's eyes looking out from the dark.
  • A small recorder playing some ghastly screams and howls will scare those little ones as they approach. You can also use your vehicle's Bluetooth Hands-Free sound system.

At Porterville Ford, each of our team members want to wish you and yours a safe and happy Halloween!
